Thrifty Tips # 6 --Banana Bread
My local market always has a box of bananas for free that have gone "bad" actually they are perfect for banana bread. Just take home the free bananas, peel and freeze them for the next time you need to make bread, or make many loaves at once and freeze. This idea is thanks to Pinky who got me freezing my ripe bananas in the first place to eliminate the fruit flies.
